MTN Group announced the appointment of Hermann Tischendorf as their chief technology and information Officer for Digital and Fintech.  

Vodafone Group has agreed to transfer its 55% shareholding in Vodafone Egypt to Vodacom, its sub-Saharan African subsidiary. This transfer simplifies the management of Vodafone’s African holdings and further strengthens the delivery of connectivity and financial services in Africa.

Sofrecom and Camusat will combine their skills to support TowerCos to create and update their processes and procedures, design, build and operate their portfolio of cell towers and to manage their different sites.

Telecom Egypt (TE) shared its Q3 2021 results with the nine-month consolidated revenue reaching EGP 26.4bn, climbing 18% YoY. The growth was mainly driven by higher data revenue, which made up 66% of top-line growth.
