The second edition of ICT Maghreb (Information & Communications Technology) exhibition & conferences – The biggest ICT event in the Maghreb region will take place in the Algerian capital, Algiers from the 14^th till the 16^th of March 2022, is expected with enthusiasm by professionals, as the event has imposed itself, since the inaugural edition in spring 2021, as the space of expression of the sector, which carries its ambitions and expectations, and for good reason. At the first and previous edition, the show has seen the presence, at the opening and closing ceremonies, three ministers of the Algerian government representing the sectors of post and telecommunications, the economy of knowledge and start-ups, as well as digitalization and statistics.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) CxO meeting hosted by Telecom Review, in collaboration with du, welcomed industry leaders physically and virtually to explore the new industry dynamics and trends within the ICT sector.

As a wrap-up to the 15th edition of Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, Telecom Review organized the 10th edition of its Excellence Awards ceremony where companies and industry leaders are recognized for what they have accomplished during the year.

Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia, previously known as the Global Partnership for Ethiopia who received the sole license to operate telecom services in Ethiopia, has invested $100 million in their first data center in the country’s capital.

The 15th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, one of the most anticipated and largest ICT events in the industry, was successfully held in a hybrid format, welcoming hundreds of distinguished guests physically and virtually at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City on December 8, 2021.

The annual Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit will be back in its 15^th edition on December 8^th at Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City, UAE. The Summit will be both physical and virtual which will allow panelists to join the panel discussions in Dubai from anywhere in the world and anyone will be able to virtually participate.

The 3GPP RAN Plenary has rolled out the standardization work of U6G (upper 6G, 6425–7125 MHz) as a new IMT licensed frequency band, and planned to complete in 2022. This marks a milestone in the industrialization of 6GHz.

Telecom Review’s latest virtual panel, entitled “Digital transformation driving the next phase of innovation”, explored various key points and shared insights on the opportunities of digital transformation, digital skills, as well as the acceleration of digital transformation among others.
